Black grand baby piano in Beverly Hospital's main lobby

The new baby grand piano in Beverly Hospital’s lobby was generously donated by one of the Hospital’s own staff.

AS BEVERLY CELEBRATES ITS 70TH ANNIVERSARY, it focuses its sights on the most important part of a hospital visit: the patient experience. As a result, innovation and oldschool efforts are being combined to ensure that every patient has the best possible service each time they visit. A few of the enhancements include:

  • New baby grand piano in the lobby.

    • Soothing music plays for friends and family who visit the hospital while they wait.

  • New charging stations for phones and tablets of all brands.

    • Having a low battery on a phone or tablet while at the hospital just adds to the stress. There are now two charging stations in the lobby and various outlets to charge mobile devices throughout the Emergency Care Center waiting area.

  • Daily visits focused strictly on customer service.

    • Directors and managers of every department visit patient rooms to ensure that every detail is taken care of, from the room temperature to the call light response time. These visits are in addition to a dedicated patient experience liaison who visits when patients or family members have questions or concerns.
