The Beverly Hospital Foundation is the fund-raising organization of the hospital. Over the years, individual gifts, large and small, have enabled Beverly Hospital to meet the needs of the communities it serves through acquisition of equipment and technology and support of expansion projects. A not-for-profit corporation, the Foundation is headed by a volunteer Board of Trustees made up of outstanding community leaders. Their commitment is to ensure that Beverly Hospital provides the best health care available to patients.

Donor Wall

Our Major Donor’s names may be placed in perpetuity on the Donor Wall in the Hospital Lobby. Many different levels of participation are available, ranging from $3,000 to $50,000 +. Names may be placed in the “In Memoriam” or the “In Honor” section for $1,000.

Heritage Circle

Beverly Hospital Heritage Circle Membership

  • What is the Beverly Hospital Heritage Circle?
    The Beverly Hospital Heritage Circle is a select organization to honor those individuals who have made a bequest to Beverly Hospital in their Wills.
  • In what ways are members recognized?
    Members are recognized in a number of ways, including a beautiful memento of the Heritage Rose deeply etched in crystal, mounted on a walnut base with a personalized plaque and also an annual dinner, held each year in January at an exclusive location attended only by members and their spouse or guest.
  • Do I have to give a specific amount of money or properties in order to qualify for membership?
    No, the percentage of your estate or the amount you bequeath to Beverly Hospital is a private matter.
  • Do I have to provide a copy of my Will?
    No, we know that a Will is a confidential document. All that is required is that you sign the Note of Intent or a dated Declaration to Beverly Hospital in your Will and return to the Foundation office.

Wilkinson Scholarship Fund

The Wilkinson Scholarship Fund

The William W. Wilkinson, MD Nurse Education Scholarship is named for a beloved physician who dedicated his work to Beverly Hospital for decades. A graduate of the University of Michigan medical School, Dr. Wilkinson joined the medical staff at Beverly Hospital in 1958 and served as chief of medical staff and as a member of the Board of Directors for several years. Three great loves for Dr. Wilkinson were Beverly Hospital, nursing career, and education, and the scholarship program, inaugurated upon his retirement, was the natural outgrowth.

Twice a year a selection committee awards the scholarships to members of Beverly’s nursing staff who wishes to pursue academic education, continuing education, or specialized education within the nursing field.

The Foundation Associates are a concerned and caring group of people who realize human life is priceless. It takes modern facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, professional staff and specialists to save lives. The Foundation Associates are a support group who share the responsibility of fulfilling Beverly Hospital’s commitment for continued medical progress and development. These remarkable individuals are an integral part of those helping, now and in the future, to fulfill the mission of Beverly Hospital. Our Foundation Associates are truly People helping People.

Memberships

Becoming a Beverly Hospital Foundation Associate is easy. As a Foundation Associate you are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Your name will be recognized on the “Tree of Life”, near the main lobby, with an engraved leaf.
  • New is the Gold Membership which will include a distinctive engraved Gold Leaf on the Tree of Life and an invitation to special Gold Leaf Membership events.
  • Each Foundation Associate will receive a “Courtesy Card”. This card enters you into our system and will make your admission process easier should you ever need any of the service of Beverly Hospital.

Tax-deductible contribution options:

  • $100 Foundation Associate Membership for Individual or Family
  • $250 Foundation Associate Membership for Business/Corporation/Organizatio
  • $200 Foundation Associate Gold Membership for Individual or Family
  • $500 Foundation Associate Gold Membership for Business/Corporation/Organization
